Off The Record was launched by three of the UK’s premier independent festivals; Kendal Calling, Sound City and Bluedot. Together they wanted to create an event to educate and connect a new generation of music industry professionals while showcasing some of the best new music in the UK.
Off The Record 2017 took place in Manchester's Northern Quarter on 10th November, welcoming a huge line-up including a special secret set from The Charlatans. Conference highlights included an In Conversation with Cabbage, panels featuring Sky's Head of Music Peter Bradbury, the BBC's Head of Music Licensing Nicky Bignall and DittoMusic founder Matt Parsons.
